Every job on Remotato is pulled directly from the company's own hiring system — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, or SmartRecruiters. We do not scrape other job boards or aggregate secondhand listings. You see the same job at the same moment the company posts it.

Most are fully remote. We review every company before adding them — we look for a published remote policy, distributed teams, and genuine async culture. Some companies also post hybrid roles, which are clearly labelled. You can filter to "Fully Remote" to see only location-independent positions.

Tokens are credits you buy to use Remotato AI features — resume analysis, tailored resume generation, cover letters, job match scoring, and Smart Apply. We use a token model so you only pay for what you actually use. There is no monthly subscription. Tokens are valid for one year.

Smart Apply is our AI application tool. When you click it on a job listing, AI checks what the ATS form needs, fills in everything from your profile, and submits your application automatically. If the form has extra questions (work authorisation, visa status, salary expectations), an AI chatbot guides you through them and saves your answers for next time.

Some ATS forms have custom screening questions that are unique to each company — things like work authorisation status, visa sponsorship requirements, or salary expectations. These cannot be pre-filled from your profile, so the Smart Apply chatbot asks you once and then remembers your answers for future applications.

Upload your CV once. Our AI reads it the same way an ATS screening system does, scores it against the role you are targeting, identifies keyword gaps, structural issues, and tone problems, then gives you specific fixes. It costs 15 tokens per analysis.

After your CV is analysed, you can generate a version rewritten specifically for a job posting — applying all the suggested improvements and aligning your experience to what that company is looking for. It costs 25 tokens and can be saved as a named resume. You can have multiple tailored versions for different applications.

Browsing jobs and companies is completely free — no account required to start. AI features (resume analysis, tailored resumes, cover letters, job match scores, Smart Apply) require tokens. You can top up from $3.

Tokens are priced at 60 per $1. Packs start at $3 (180 tokens). You can also buy a custom amount. Tokens are valid for one year and there is no subscription.

Smart Apply currently supports Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby. Workable and SmartRecruiters do not expose a public candidate submission API, so for those you apply manually on the company site — but we still generate your cover letter and fill in your details ready to paste.

Yes. Every job links directly to the company's own application page. Smart Apply is optional — it is there for when you want to apply without leaving Remotato.
